This paper presents a 500-dpi transparent on-glass capacitive fingerprint sensor. On-glass sensor of 200x200 diamond pattern ITO electrodes are fabricated. High resolution readout ICs which are fabricated on 0.18μm CMOS process achieves 23.5dB SNR on finger touch. This is the first case of transparent on-glass fingerprint sensor.
