Abstract
A benzimidazole-based Co3+ complex was synthesized and evaluated as a sensor for I- and HSO4- in aqueous media. The complex showed electrochemical changes with I- over other anions, whereas it had a ratiometric response to HSO4- with UV-visible spectroscopy even in the presence of other anions.
