Abstract

This paper presents a collaboration scheme for distributed and heterogeneous CIM data activities. For concurrently coordinating CIM data activities, an advanced workflow model called Data Activity Flow Net (DAF-Net) is developed. For executing the coordination model and integrating heterogeneous information systems, a multi-agent based integration model called Agent-based Integration Model of Information Systems (AIMIS) is developed. To test the implementation logic of the two models, Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) software is applied. In this research, PVM has been proved to be a highly effective tool for testing the implementation logic of DAF-Net and AIMIS.
