Analysis of acousto-optic coupling in a hollow optical fiber

Abstract

A novel acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) using a hollow optical fiber (HOF) has been fabricated. Its highly birefringent optical characteristics and polarization-dependent coupling are experimentally measured.
