N2 - The BLT equation has been used as a useful technique for analyzing coupling effects inside the huge devices in the frequency domain. To expand its applications into further complicated systems, it has been applied with numerical solutions. In this paper, the combination techniques are used to investigate the coupling effects in a waveguide structure. Consequently, it shows excellent agreements with the results calculated using much more time consuming full-wave analysis.
