Applications of 2-D materials in ultrafast fiber lasers

2-D materials such as MoS2, WS2 were successfully employed as an all-fiber saturableabsorber. We review mode-locking and Q-switching schemes in fiber lasers based upon 2-Dmaterial saturable absorbers.
