N2 - Based on the reactive routing protocol, the AOMDV protocol extends the AODV protocol to discover multiple paths. However, the AOMDV based on static route selection can not handle the dynamic change of the network such as congestion and contention. In this paper, we propose A2OMDV to resolve the problem through dynamic route switching method. Based on the delay of the multiple paths, a source node selects its route dynamically and checks the quality of the alternative routes according to the change of the ad hoc network. The results from our analysis and simulation show performance enhancements of the proposed scheme with respect to end-To-end delay and throughput.
