Design and analysis of a mini linear actuator for optical disk drive

Abstract

In this paper, We suggest a VCM type mini linear actuator for optical disk derive. Here we propose the virtual path method that can be used to model the outer magnetic flux. The magnetic circuit of this actuator can be a closed circuit due to the virtual path model of the outer magnetic flux.
