Dynamic nonlinearity reduction of DFB-LD by dual parallel modulation

Abstract

A novel dual-parallel scheme for nonlinear suppression of directly modulated DFB-LD was designed. Two-tone experiments were performed to confirm the validity of the scheme. In the experiments, the IMD3 reduction of 16dB was obtained.
