Abstract

Alumina supported chromium oxide catalysts with added potassium were prepared and tested for methylene chloride oxidation. They were investigated by XRD, BET, XPS and chemisorption. Chromium oxide catalyst with added potassium of 1 wt.% has a large beneficial effect on activity.
