Feedback harmonic injection technique for reduction of third intermodulation distortion in radio-over-fiber link

Abstract

We proposed a new linearization scheme for DFB laser diode employing a feedback harmonic-injection technique in radio-over-fiber link. The proposed scheme has obtained the harmonic signals in a feedback loop for harmonic injection, which was different from the previous injection techniques. The enhanced performance of carrier-to-noise ratio and spurious-free dynamic range were experimentally demonstrated and evaluated using the proposed scheme.
