Abstract

We characterize pk-ary (p prime, k integer) generalized m-sequences and generalized GMW sequences of period p2k - 1 over a residue class ring R = GF(p)[ξ]/(ξk) with the "strictly" optimal partial Hamming autocorrelation function (HAF).
