Abstract
By using the frequency mixing method, we study the Hawking radiation of a massless conformally coupled scalar field in the, recently discovered, three-dimensional black hole geometry. We find the Hawking temperature which agrees with the previous results with an appropriate normalization of the timelike Killing vector. We also show that the angular velocity plays the role of the chemical potential.
