N2 - The light emitting efficiency and the stability of the electrophosphorescent devices with heterostructured light emission layer, either multilayer or mixing of hole-and electron-transporting materials, was characterized in terms of the charge injection behavior and balancing of devices. Selection of best combination and engineered profile of heterostructured hosts provides up to 50lm/W device with conventional transport layers.
