High efficiency and low voltage characteristics of electrophosphorescent devices with mixed and layered emission layer

Abstract

The light emitting efficiency and the stability of the electrophosphorescent devices with heterostructured light emission layer, either multilayer or mixing of hole-and electron-transporting materials, was characterized in terms of the charge injection behavior and balancing of devices. Selection of best combination and engineered profile of heterostructured hosts provides up to 50lm/W device with conventional transport layers.
