Abstract

We study baryons in dense matter using a holographic QCD (hQCD) model. Baryons are introduced as the bulk Dirac field in five dimensional antide Sitter (Ads) space. We turn on the baryon number density pe by a standard AdS/CFT dictionary and the scalar density ρs, as a bi-fermion condensate of the nucleon field in hQCD. We calculate the in-medium mass of the nucleon and observe that the mass decreases with increasing baryon number density.
