Human security in the Korean Penninsula: A case of the north Korean drug trafficking

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the concept of human security as it is currently developing and try to locate the concept of human security within the context of comprehensive security and national security. As a case study, we also introduce the historical trend of North Korean drug trafficking and discuss its impact on human security around the Korean peninsula. We present several efficient countermeasures to North Korea's drug trafficking operations.
