Abstract

Proteins present in follicular dendritic cell (FDC) membrane were identified using LC/MS/MS method. Reducing SDS-PAGE was performed on the crude plasma membranes using a 10cm2×1.0mm precast polyacrylamide gel. The LC/MS/MS analysis of each slice generated 100 to 200 peptide sequences which were derived from 20 to 30 unique proteins. A total of 522 unique proteins were identified from the FDC membrane preparation with most of them identified by multiple peptides.
