Abstract

Patterns in the origin of the uterine artery. (A) The left internal iliac arteriogram in the right anterior oblique projection shows the origin of the dilated uterine artery (arrow) as the first branch of the anterior division of the internal iliac artery. (B) The right internal iliac arteriogram in the left anterior oblique projection shows the origin of the dilated uterine artery (arrow) as the third branch of the anterior division of the internal iliac artery. (C) The right internal iliac arteriogram in the frontal projection shows the origin of the uterine artery (arrow) as the trifurcation of the internal iliac artery. (D) The left internal iliac arteriogram in the right anterior oblique projection shows the origin of the dilated uterine artery (arrow) from the main trunk of the internal iliac artery before its branching into the anterior and posterior division
