Integrated echo and noise canceler for hands-free applications

Abstract

An integrated acoustic echo and noise canceler for hands-free communications was presented. It included computationally efficient double-talk detection, IS-127 noise reduction, and residual echo cancellation. High quality hands-free communications especially in a car moving at high-speed was achieved by the proposed system implemented in a real-time using a low cost digital signal processing (DSP).
