Abstract

The introduction gives theoretical and methodological orientations and thematic concerns of the book. It delineates key concepts and delimits the application of the notion of African Pentecostalism as inclusive of all movements that had taken a pneumatological framework as foundation for interacting and understanding human reality within particular local contexts. The chapter also reviews various literature and gives an overview of the book.
