Abstract

We developed a new biosensor to detect airborne microbes using ATP-bioluminescence transducer, microfluidic chip, and aerosol condensation system. The proposed novel method was experimentally investigated and evaluated for the real-time detection of airborne bacteria such as Bacillus subtilis and E. coli JM115.
