Abstract

In this paper, a miniaturized bow-tie-shaped meander-slot antenna is proposed to achieve wideband characteristics. In general, conventional bow-tie slot antennas have broadband characteristics, while meander-type slot antennas have relatively small size. The proposed antenna geometry is a variation of the meander-slot antenna, incorporating the bow-tie shape to realize a miniaturized antenna having a relatively large bandwidth.
