Abstract

We report on multilayered optical storage in Sm(DBM)3Phen-doped and un-doped polymethylmethacrylate read out by fluorescence and reflection modes. The detection of fluorescence signal enables retrieval of the stored bits with a higher signal-to-noise ratio.
