New type of long-period fiber grating by self-assembled periodic polymerization in silica hollow optical fiber

Abstract

We report a new type of long period grating fabrication method by curing polymer filled in a hollow optical fiber. In the curing process, a self-assembled polymer-air periodic structure was achieved.
