Abstract

In this study, we propose a novel two-stage speech enhancement method that first removes reverberations and later reduce noise. Reverberant and noisy speech signals in the indoor environment cause problems such as reduced intelligibility and degradation. It is effective to remove the reverberation first because it is stationary for a relatively short time compared to the noise. PESQ and STOI scores of the proposed method are higher than the method of removing noise first in various environment.
