Noise tolerant optical detection in CMOS image sensor based visible light communication

Abstract

We propose optical detection with noise reduction process based on CMOS image sensor. By employing this process, a noise tolerant 3.8 kbps visible light transmission using CMOS image sensor was experimentally demonstrated.
