Abstract

The paper reports nondestructive photoacoustic detection of both heavy-hole and light-hole excitons in a GaAs/AlGaAs MQW structures at room temperature by means of photoacoustic (PA) spectroscopy. The gas-microphone technique, with a minimal-volume cell and a grazing-incidence method, has been used to enhance the PA signal to noise ratio.
