Novel spectral filters based on holely fiber tapers and fused taper couplers

Abstract

We report novel transmission characteristics of index guiding holey fiber adiabatic tapers and fused taper couplers. Various spectral functionalities of filters were designed using BPM and spectral responses were experimentally demonstrated.
