Abstract

We introduce an NS-2 based simulator for Optical Burst Switching (OBS), one of the most promising technologies for the optical Internet. Even though OBS technology contains various research issues, few simulators have been released for public use. In this paper, we present the architecture and descriptions of the simulator with its added features. The demonstrations of new features show the usefulness of our simulator.
