Abstract

The penetration enhancement of non-invasive microwave hyperthermia applicator is presented. The 915 MHz branched dipole element used for planar array. The E-field from the single element determines the input phase and power of array applicator. The SAR ratio between surface and target depth is dominant for temperature distribution. The 5 cm effective treatment depth is achieved with 3-dimensional temperature simulation.
