Abstract

In this paper, a performance analysis on multihop wireless networks based on CSMA/CA for non-saturated environments is presented. Specifically, the model provides an accurate per-flow throughput performance for various types of heterogeneous non-saturated traffic. Simulation results confirm the accuracy of the model which provides deeper insights into the behavior of random access protocols based on CSMA/CA.
