N2 - A technique of using polyion complex micelle nanocarrier of dendritic photosensitizer for various photodynamic therapies was investigated. The ionic dendrimer phthalocyanine exhibited large absorption bands at quite longer wavelength region. Oxygen consumption of the solution of phthalocyanine and its micelle was measured upon the light irradiation, to evaluate photodynamic singlet oxygen generation. The results suggests that the dendrimer phthalocyanine polyion complex micelle is significantly efficient photosensitizing agent for photodynamic cancer therapy.
