Abstract

The recent development of ultrahigh peak power (> 40 TW), ultrafast (< 30 fs), compact, lasers thus makes it more promising to implement practical, table-top, short wavelength lasers. In this work, we present a model or a recombination XUV laser that is based on our experimental results on irradiating clusters with ultrashort (25 fs) pulses.
