Abstract

Semitransparent perovskite photovoltaics have been developed to realize practical applications, such as windows in buildings/automobiles or the top cells of tandem devices. Among the functional layers constituting solar cell devices, fabricating efficient semitransparent light absorbers is one of the key issues for developing semitransparent devices. This short review describes the recent strategies for structuring semitransparent perovskite layers to achieve high performance in terms of both power conversion efficiency and transmittance.
