Self-assembled periodic microfluidic structures in a hollow optical fiber

Abstract

We report novel periodic microfludic structures in a hollow optical fiber (HOF) filled with water and air. The structures within the HOF were fabricated using a flame brushing technique and its optical characteristics are presented.
