Abstract

Rotationally resolved OH stretching vibrational spectrum of the cis and trans conformed in 2-flnorophenol has been observed by using CARS The OH stretching frequency of the cis conlbrmer is found to be 23 cm-1 smaller than that of the trans conformed owing to the intra-molecular hydrogen bonding of the cis conformer.
