Abstract

(Chemical Equation Presented) A highly active and durable fumed silica-supported heterogeneous molybdenum(VI) catalyst was applied to ring closing alkyne metathesis and cyclooligomerization reactions to give high yields of metathesis products near room temperature conditions.
