Abstract

In this paper, we propose the compact folded monopole and rolled fat monopole antennas for UWB system with width reduced using folded and rolled structures. The proposed antennas have the omni-directional pattern in azimuth and compact size. They cover the wide band for the VSWR < 2, using the tapered ground plane.
