Abstract

This study demonstrates the effect of a Ca substituent for Sr on the structural, chemical, and electrical properties in La 0.7 Sr 0.3-x Ca x MnO 3 perovskite manganite films. The structural modification of films was found to be affected by the amount of Ca substituent. Raman spectroscopy analysis reveals a decrease of bond angle and an increase of Jahn-Teller type distortion in MnO 6 octahedra with increasing Ca. The resistance value of high resistance state, switching voltage and resistive switching ratio of La 0.7 Sr 0.3-x Ca x MnO 3 films decreased with increasing amounts of Ca substituent. The relationships among structural, interfacial, and electrical properties including resistive switching behaviour of La 0.7 Sr 0.3-x Ca x MnO 3 were examined.
