Abstract

The stability of liquid crystal alignment property is important for the image quality of liquid crystal display (LCD). Although the ion beam irradiation process is the options for conventional alignment process with many advantages, it suffers from the stability of alignment layer. To overcome this problem, we developed the hydrogen passivation process at low temperature and got the improvement of stability of liquid crystal alignement.
