Abstract

The fibroblast and osteoblast migration on extracellular matrices (ECM) was investigated using a cell tracking system. The cell tracking system used to analyze the migration of the cells includes a computer-aided time-lapse video-microscopy system. The migration of fibroblast and osteoblast was also compared on the glass coated with type I collagen and fibronectin. It was found that the migration speed of L-929 cells on the glass coated with ECM, both type I collagen and fibronectin was much more than that of non coated glass.
