Abstract

A new wavelength initialization technique for WDM-PON (wavelength division multiplexed-passive optical network) system is proposed, where it uses allocated light path over optical link. Compared with other techniques, it is expected that the smallest size and the lowest cost for implementing this will be achieved in the real network.
