Abstract

This paper presents a printed rectenna design and experimental characteristics versus distance between transmitting antenna and the rectenna. The designed rectifier shows 67% of maximum efficiency and 2×2, 4×4 conventional array antnneas are connected with rectifier using via hole transition. Within 50cm, 2×2 array rectenna shows higher efficiency and outside the 60 cm, 4×4 array rectenna shows higher efficiency. The maximum efficiencies of two rectennas are 7% and 4%, respectively.
